Oh no an intro
Here are a few things about me
Recently in my life I discovered that I was living sort of a dispassionate lifestyle, where I would wake up, work, and then just kind of vibe. I sort of started to get frustrated with myself and everything as a result. I loved when I made things, whether cross-stitch patterns or Lego or anything where I was doing something with a beginning, a middle, and an end. However, with some of the things I enjoyed (music, art, world-building), I began to dislike making things as it would be me focusing on one area and not the others.
When all the Unity backlash over their pricing models came to be, I began hearing of a free, open-source game engine called Godot, and after a simple download and a few tutorials, I knew this was something that I wanted to do. It would let me be techy, but also creative and artistic, and the best part? I could use it in the overall goal of having a fully fleshed out world that I created which could be experienced via playing a game!
So here we are. I am still very much so at the start of my journey, but it is one that has provided me with a lot of energy and focus, and one that if I keep up with it I feel like I could have a great time doing it.
I will be using this website as a place to blog about the dev process, the world creation process, post materials I find interesting, and also be a shameless furry on. I am currently using a lot of art that I have commissioned, but over time I will be getting more active with using my own art and my own creations to have a place that I feel is fun but also very authentically and genuinely me.
Thanks for reading all this, you must feel like my therapist by now, but I feel it is important to put all this down so you know what you are getting yourself into.
